2018 New Hampshire Football Showcase

 

X-celerate’s New Hampshire football showcase is a non-contact instructional setting for athletes to run through individual drills and gain exposure in front of college coaches from the New England region. 

 

The camp will be held Saturday July 21st, 2018 at the Bedford High School Turf Field, located at 47B Nashua Road in Bedford, NH 03110 from 9:00am-1:00pm (check in starts at 8am for height, weight, and standing reach)

Showcase Mission

Our goal is to provide high school football players in the New Hampshire region the opportunity to display their athletic skills and demonstrate improvements in their personal test scores in order to further their academic and athletic careers. At this non-contact football showcase athletes will be put through a variety of skill related assessments and football specific drills for college coaches from multiple divisions throughout New Hampshire. All athletes and coaches will be able to visit our showcase site to see results of all participants to advance their recruiting capability.

Equipment Needed

Campers should wear shorts, a breathable T-shirt, sneakers, and cleats. A water bottle or sports drink is mandatory and a small snack is recommended. Before reporting to camp, campers should be well nourished and hydrated.


 

Camp Location - Bedford High School, NH

The camp will be held Saturday July 21st, 2018 at the Bedford High School Turf Field, located at 47B Nashua Road in Bedford, NH 03110. The makeup date will be Sunday July 23th.    


Cost: $99 (early registration)    $129 (after July 1st)

The cost will include a New Hampshire Football Showcase camp t-shirt and online posting of all results from the showcase for colleges and athletes. Athletes can register online or print out the brochure and send it in the mail with a check.  

 

The experts behind X-celerate New hampshire

With decades of football experience, our CPR certified staff has coached hundreds of student-athletes at multiple levels, with several former players going on to become Division I athletes. 

 

Camp Director: Derek Stank 

Coach Stank was the 2006 recipient of the UNH Jim Urquhart Male Student-Athlete of the Year award for being a dual sport athlete and for his accomplishments in the department of kinesiology. He was the captain and MVP for the University of New Hampshire football program in 2005. At Bedford High School he is a Wellness Teacher and the Head Football and assistant Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field coach.  Coach Stank has been a tri-sport coach at Bedford High School since 2007 where he has helped countless athletes take their game to the next level.  Coach Stank has been running speed and agility camps teaching athletes the skills needed to be successful in all major assessments form the 40 yard dash, pro-agility, 3 cone L-test, broad jump, and vertical jump for the last 10 years.  He has helped numerous athletes move on to play this great game at the next level.

Staff: George Peterson

Coach Peterson took over for legendary football coach Bill Tyghe at Lexington High School (MA).  Coach Peterson has served as the defensive coordinator and the offensive coordinator for while coaching the offensive line, quarterbacks, and linebackers in that time.  He has guided the Minutemen to become one of the highest scoring offenses in Massachusetts over the past couple season.  Before coming to Lexington, coach Peterson was an assistant coach at Bedford High School.  Coach Peterson attended the University of New Hampshire where he was an All-American defensive end in 2004.

Justin Huft is the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director for Goffstown High School.

I have been coaching football for over a decade primarily as a defensive coach. I began at the Youth levels which included a State Championship and a bid to play in the AYF National Championships in Florida in 2008. I have coached at the high school level since 2009 at both Campbell and Raymond as a Varsity Defensive Assistant Coach for defensive backs and outside linebackers and JV Head Coach. I am now the current LB coach and JV defensive coordinator for Bedford High School where I have coached since 2015.  

Staff: Neal Vaupel

Neal Vaupel is the quarterback coach for the Bedford High School football team.  Since the start of Varsity football in 2008 at Bedford, Coach Vaupel has coached at all three levels of the program, working with players on both sides of the ball. Coach Vaupel has worked as an assistant linebacker coach, assistant defensive line coach, special teams coach and in addition to being the quarterback coach, he is the Junior Varsity Head Coach.  As a coach and educator, Coach Vaupel is focused on working with student-athletes to reach their full potential and maximize their gains.

Staff: Shaun St. Onge

Shaun St. Onge played 4 years at St. Anselm College as starting Strong Safety.  Coach St. Onge returned to coach at St.A's, coaching defensive backs for 3 years and was Co-Defensive Coordinator for one season.  He's also had coaching experience at Goffstown High school and Bedford High School. As the Bedford High School Defensive Coordinator for 3 years, he led the Division 1 top-ranked scoring defense in 2013. He is currently the defensive coordinator at Merrimack Valley High School as well as the school's assistant principal.

Coach Murby is a Norwich Football graduate and a current coach for Bedford High School.

James Caparell is a recent graduate from the University of Rhode Island where he played quarterback for the Rams.
